How it works

Our simple step by step guide for using the Prorail garden edging system.

Choose a place to start.

Pin length of Prorail to desired shape then bolt on a joining plate.

Offer up the next section of rail and firmly bolt together.

Continue pinning rail to shape. Note: joining plates are to go on the outside of curves and should be supported by pins.

When satisfied with shape, backfill rail on both sides. Leave enough rail exposed to give an easy maintenance edge on completion.

Offer up the next section of rail and firmly bolt together.

Handy hints

  • Prorail can be cut and drilled using wood tools.
  • Use joining plates as a drilling template.
  • When joining mitered angles, pre-drill and fasten together using galv bugle screws.
  • With warmer ambient temperatures, tighter curves can be achieved. But over bending will result in breakages.
